Privacy
This section explains how I handle personal data on this site, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What I collect, why, and on what basis.
- Contact emails you send me. Processed to reply and continue the conversation. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to people who write to me, or pre-contractual measures if you’re enquiring about work.
- Server logs (IP, user agent, request path, timestamp). Processed to keep the site running and to investigate abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in security and availability. Retained up to 30 days.
No analytics, advertising or profiling tools run on this site.
Who else sees the data. The site is hosted on Hetzner (Germany). Cloudflare sits in front for DNS, CDN and email obfuscation. Outbound email is sent through Keplars. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of delivering them. Each provider acts as a processor under a data processing agreement.
Transfers outside the EU. Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
How long I keep things. Emails: as long as the conversation is live, then up to 12 months. Logs: up to 30 days.
Your rights. You can ask me to show you what I hold, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, port it, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Email me and I’ll sort it.
Complaints. You can also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Providing data. Giving me your email to write to me is optional, but without it I can’t reply. There is no automated decision-making on this site.

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies (session and CSRF protection). No analytics, advertising or profiling cookies are set. You can clear or block cookies from your browser settings.
